Back in 2019, not long before I lost my dad to ALS, I collaborated with a small business called Wells Cooperative to create a necklace that represented our father daughter relationship. We came up with a simple, sweet design: a gold quatrefoil charm — inspired by a four-leaf clover plant my dad and I planted together when I was little. That same plant still blooms every spring, and when it does, it’s like a quiet nudge from the universe reminding me that love is still here. Still growing. I know it's technically a weed, but damn I love that plant (so much so that I have it tattooed on my right hand).

My dad came up with the name for the necklace, Hope For All, because he truly wanted hope for everyone battling something. A portion of proceeds from this necklace went to I Am ALS. What I didn’t expect was how many people would show up for it. Friends, family, even people I didn’t know personally; they bought the necklace, wore it proudly, and shared stories of their own. It sold out, and to this day, it’s still one of my most treasured pieces because of what it represents.
Now, I want to pass that feeling forward.
This year, I’m launching a special ALS Collection through my shop, Palettes and Petals. Each necklace will be created in collaboration with someone living with ALS. Together, we’ll design a piece that speaks to their story — they’ll pick a charm, and the necklace will be named in their honor. A portion of every sale will be donated to the ALS organization of their choice.
These won’t be just necklaces. They’ll be personal, wearable tributes — something you can hold close, gift to a loved one, or wear in quiet solidarity. A reminder that someone’s story matters. That they’re not alone.
I’m already working with three incredible women living with ALS on the first designs, and I’m opening up submissions for the next round. If you or someone you love is living with ALS and would like to be part of this project, I would truly be honored to hear from you.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for remembering. And thank you for helping me carry my dad’s legacy forward by lifting up others in the ALS community.
With so much gratitude,
